I’m Dereka — a mother of four boys, a perinatal professional with over a decade of experience, and the founder of
Carter Comprehensive Birth.
After years of witnessing families navigate pregnancy, birth, and newborn life without continuity or culturally aligned support,
I built the care model I wish every family had access to.
Carter Comprehensive Birth was created to provide discreet, elevated, full-spectrum care — delivered by internally trained professionals who understand not only newborn care, but the importance of trust, safety, and presence inside a family’s home.
